LegacyWise (LW) provides affordable tools to create estate documents. Our innovative and interactive technology allows individuals to prepare their own documents with the guidance and assistance of our trained staff. LW is run by a group of people with considerable experience helping people.
Fred has served a broad range of both nonprofit and commercial clients. On the commercial side, he has managed over $3.5 billion in mergers and acquisitions. On the nonprofit side, he has led teams that provide health insurance coverage for the uninsurable in New Hampshire, and helped close childhood immunization funding gaps in New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, Rhode Island, Alaska, and Washington.
Fred is a past president of the New Hampshire Bar Association. He also has served as the CEO and executive director of the Christian Legal Society, which for more than 50 years has been helping Christian attorneys integrate their faith and practice through attorney and law student fellowship programs, law student mentoring, advocacy of religious freedom, and legal aid services for the poor and needy.
Fred earned a B.A. from Harvard College, an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, and a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. Over the years, he has served on the boards of several private and publicly-held corporations. He and his wife, Mertie, professor emerita of psychiatric nursing, have three children and six grandchildren.
Jake Corneau has accumulated 15 years of experience in the correctional field, serving in operational and training roles. His passion for staff development and fostering the growth of others ultimately brought him to LegacyWise.
Jake is happily married to Vanessa, and they share a life with two wonderful children, Evella and Jensen. As the newly appointed Director of Operations at LegacyWise, Jake is committed to advancing the Lord’s work through the LegacyWise ministry.
Matt is a dedicated team member who came on board in 2015. Serving the team in Client Services, Real Estate Management and bringing a wealth of experience in Customer Service roles, he brings a people-first approach to his work. His commitment to serving others extends beyond his career, as he has devoted many years to supporting and contributing to his local Church. Matt is a proud spouse and parent to four children, balancing professional success with a strong family and community focus.
Larysa earned a B. A. from Plymouth State University in 2019. Following graduation, she gained experience in both the public and private sectors, specializing in Probate and Estate Planning matters.
As a Content Coordinator and Paralegal at LegacyWise, Larysa combines her passion for helping others with her knowledge to ensure a smooth experience for LegacyWise users. Outside work, Larysa enjoys exploring; she’s visited eighteen countries but finds New Hampshire the ideal place for her family.
Mark Serves LegacyWise as an Assistant Controller. His role covers all things finance-related at LegacyWise. Mark earned his bachelor’s with honors at the University of New Hampshire in 2023. During his undergraduate years he interned for KidsVax and Subway NH where it took his first full-time job as a staff accountant role. He is currently wrapping up his MBA with concentration in accounting in the spring of 2025 at Southern New Hampshire University. Mark and his wife, Maddi, are expecting their first son to arrive in February 2025.
Genesis Quintana earned her Juris Doctorate in 2020 from Cooley Law School, where she cultivated a deep interest in corporate law and nonprofit governance. As a fellow at LegacyWise, she facilitates estate document drafting workshops and preparing for the Massachusetts Bar Exam. Ms. Quintana aspires to make significant contributions to the legal community and commencing her legal career with JustLaw NH, PLLC.
Genesis’s leadership and commitment to business management have been pivotal in her previous role as Chief Administrative Officer at PROPEL. Where she successfully assisted with the strategic expansion of the company across three counties in Florida, utilizing her expertise in compliance and grant writing. Born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, Ms. Quintana often visits her parents in Boca Raton, Florida, during the holidays. She is bilingual, fluent in both Spanish and English, and enjoys golfing and horseback riding in her leisure time.

LW staff are ably assisted by technical, design, and other resources under contract to serve LW and LW’s users. This extended network of specializing talent serve on an as-needed, just-in-time basis. This allows LegacyWise to cost-effectively deploy best practices across all operations.
